About Perimeter Check

Perimeter Check is a read-only posture scanner for domain names. We look at information your systems already publish on the public internet—DNS, TLS, HTTP, email authentication, technologies, and high-level exposure signals—and deliver a single scored report you can share with stakeholders or export.

You’re browsing https://perimeter-check.com/.

What It Does

  • Clarity — weighted scores for each area (DNS, web, headers, TLS, email, technology, exposure) plus an overall posture label.
  • Findings — prioritized items with severity, evidence, and practical recommendations where we can suggest them.
  • Exports — PDF, JSON, CSV, and a print-friendly HTML view for your records, tooling, or automation.

This is not a penetration test, bug bounty program, or covert red-team engagement. We don’t exploit services, guess credentials, or run intrusive attack chains.

How It Works

  1. You enter a domain you control or are authorized to assess, then choose full coverage or a custom subset.
  2. Our engine runs read-only, public checks in order—for example DNS and registration context, website reachability, security headers, TLS and certificates, SPF/DMARC/DKIM and related mail signals, client-side technology hints, and exposure-oriented signals from your landing page.
  3. You receive a report in the browser with scores, findings, and export options. Most runs finish in under a minute, depending on DNS and network conditions.

We may refresh reference versions (for example npm or CMS release metadata) in the background so outdated-component hints stay current—without changing the read-only nature of the scan.

Privacy & Data Retention

No account is required. Reports are tied to your browser session, with a short server cache so links keep working while you work. Cached reports are removed after about 12 hours—download PDF, JSON, or CSV if you need a permanent copy.
